Hello, and welcome to Get Married Your Way!

We are ordained, legally registered ministers in the State of Oklahoma, and have performed hundreds of wedding ceremonies since the year 2000. This is something we truly love doing.

We are dedicated to helping you to have the kind of wedding you have dreamed of having, whether in your own living room, yard, a park, a lake shore, a church or a meadow or anywhere in between. We are here to help you to have your wedding come off as smoothly as possible.

We have no chapel or primary site of our own, so we come to you. We can help you choose from a library of commonly used vows, or if you prefer, help you write your vows any way you want them. Together, we can help design your vows any way you want them.

In addition to providing ministerial services, we provide wedding consultation to help you work through some of the details of planning of one of the most important (and stressfull!) events in life. Feel free to ask me any questions, (but please read through the Frequently Asked Questions section of this site first!)

About “Get Married Your Way™”

We are a family of ordained ministers who have been granted legal right to marry people in the State of Oklahoma. Our founder, Rev. Joane Fogel, has been officiating at weddings since year 2000. Collecting vows of many religions, including most Christian religions (modern and classic), Jewish, Buddhist, Taoist, New Age, and Secular (no religion), she has specialized in meaningful, romantic and personal, one-of-a-kind vows.

Over ten years ago the State of Oklahoma stopped providing Justice Of The Peace wedding services at the courthouse. This service is now fulfilled by ministers who are legally registered as Wedding Officiants.

Rev. Joane lives in Norman, OK, and was happily married her husband of 50 years, Dr. Norman Fogel, who passed away in October 2011. He was also an experienced, ordained, lay minister, who had many talents and was greatly loved by his whole family. He is greatly missed.

Recently, the family business expanded to include the Rev. Joane’s daughter, Dr. Dara Fogel, and her husband Richard Auer.
